IRDA planning unique identity numbers to hospitals

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Irda) is planning of issuing unique identity numbers to hospitals in all over India. This will help to determine pricing patterns for various diseases. At this point of time there is not any option for hospitals through the ministry of health or municipal corporations. 

Unique identity numbers will integrate with the pin code of the area and the name of hospitals.

Rajasthan Government is ready to start organ transplant in Jaipur and other cities in Rajasthan. The software for online registration and information is ready, now data feed process started. Web registry name will be Rajasthan networking for organ sharing. All registered government and private hospitals will get username and password for this portal.
