Consumers can call on toll-free number to report adverse reactions or their bad experiences from any medicine.

The ministry also plans to make it mandatory for pharmacists, hospitals and other independent clinics to display the toll free number - 18001803024 - in public interest.

BJP MLA abuses CMO on phone

This is very bad to hear one of our representative abusing an government employee who is doing his work with honesty. All doctors associations are protesting against MLA behavior and demanding MLA resignation.

One audio was viral on Thursday where BJP MLA of Rajasthan's Kota district Prahlad Gunjal was heard threatening the chief medical officer on phone for transfer issue.

It can be heard easily where this is not just threaten to the CMO but also used abusive and vulgar language against CMO and his family members.
